Print Information

The medium of choice for more than twenty years, 35mm Kodachrome film, has only recently given way to the digital camera capture, just as the thundering of pistons faded with the approach of the turbojet. The images presented here are being made available through this site in a selection of sizes for purchase, suitable for wall décor in the home or office space. These printed renditions represent the rapidly advancing state of the art in digital photography. Printed using large format Epson archival inks and technology, each print is individually made and signed, after inspection. Under UV glass, the longevity of these prints is expected to be more than 100 years. The result displays all of the impact of the original transparency film, truly rendering the experience of flight.

Print sizes vary, the longest dimension being a minimum size. A 20 X 30 inch image will be on 24 X 36 paper, with an image size at least 30 inches in width. The height will vary by a fraction of an inch plus or minus. The border is intended to provide for this size buffer, and the image name and photographer's signature. The selections also provide for a choice of glossy or luster finish.

Shipping is by U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail in the domestic U.S. International shipping is via U.S. Postal Service Airmail Parcel Post. Shipping, handling and insurance are included in the print price. Packaging is a heavyweight tube for the two larger sizes, and a cardboard flat for the smaller size. Sales tax of 8% will be applied to deliveries in Washington State. Other shipping preferences will be accommodated at actual cost adjustment by pre-arrangement only.
